Its location in the 2nd circle was then the edge of town, where modern houses were springing up in a style that reflected a break from tradition. It was not until the 1950's that Amman began to spread out. The house was always home to several prominent personalities, such as H.E. Mr. Fawzi Al-Mulki, the first Prime Minister of Jordan.
